4 Ways to Make Your Real Estate Agent’s Job Easier

4 Ways to Make Your Real Estate Agent’s Job Easier

  • July 15, 2014
  • Amy

Selling your house can be a long and draining experience. But, the experience can also be long and draining for someone else your real estate agent! Here are four ways that you can make your real estate agents job easier:

Clean Your Home.

Its incredibly hard and embarrassing for a real estate agent to present your home to potential buyers if its not clean and organized. Your potential buyers will have a hard time looking past the mess and clutter to be able to see the homes potential, and your real estate agent will have to work twice as hard to try to sell the house.

Leave During Open Houses.

The last thing your real estate agent wants is you to be hanging around during the open house. The reason why is because you will prevent potential homebuyers from viewing the house as their new home. Your real estate agent needs to be able to pitch the positive and negative aspects of the home without you hanging around and chiming in every so often. Its awkward, and it will make your agents job harder. If you’re looking to sell your home in Toronto, Canada, you could contact HomeAds to help with your sale including organizing open houses and home staging. You can find more information here – www.homeads.ca

Price Your Home from a Logical and not Emotional Perspective

Your home is a truly wonderful place that has given you shelter and many memories for the last several years. However, you cant price your home from an emotional perspective, or else your real estate agent will have a hard time selling it. Price your home from a logical perspective, and youll find that it will sell quicker than you could have ever imagined. Make sure you do your research and know all the terminology you can. You don’t want to leave asking “what is cap rate real estate” until the last minute.

Be Respectful of the New Buyer.

When you do finally sell the house, your real estate agents job is not over quite yet. They still have a reputation to uphold and are still ultimately responsible for communication between you and the buyer. Make sure you clean the house, do any repairs, and leave it in a great condition. This will make things easier on your real estate agent because he/she will have a happy transaction and happy buyers.
